About the Founder: Cathy

Wilding Roots was born from a deep love of nature, creativity, adventure, and community. 

As an artist, Catherine Alexandra Art creates nature-inspired work that encourages people to slow down, observe, and reconnect with the landscapes around them. But Wilding Roots is about more than art alone. It is a space where creativity and adventure meet — a welcoming community for curious minds, free spirits, outdoor lovers, and creative souls. 

Through guided walks, creative experiences, fundraising challenges, and outdoor adventures, Wilding Roots encourages people to explore new places, discover hidden strengths, nurture their wellbeing, and find calm amidst the busyness of modern life. It is a place to grow in confidence, connect with like-minded people, and deepen your relationship with both nature and yourself. 

Alongside this, Cathy brings years of experience organizing successful fundraising challenges and is passionate about helping others turn their own ambitious ideas into meaningful adventures that make a real difference. 

This is only the beginning of the Wilding Roots journey. In time, Wilding Roots Studio will grow into something even bigger — a thriving community of outdoor creatives, adventurers, and dreamers. The roots are already taking hold, and an exciting future lies ahead.
